DetailMarque uses a small, purposeful set of cookies. This policy explains what each cookie does, why it exists, and how you can control it. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember information between page loads, for example keeping you signed in or preserving your preferences. Cookies cannot execute code or access files on your device.

Maintains server-side session state required for secure form handling (claim listing, contact). This cookie is set by Next.js and is deleted when you close your browser.

Stores your authentication state when you are signed in to a DetailMarque account. The access token expires after 1 hour; the refresh token silently renews it. Without this cookie, authenticated features cannot function.

Works alongside the auth token to renew your session without requiring you to sign in again. Stored as an HttpOnly cookie and never accessible to JavaScript.

Duration: Rolling 10-second window
A server-side counter keyed to your IP address that prevents abuse of public form endpoints. This is not a browser cookie; it lives in Upstash Redis on our servers and is never sent to your device.
Analytics: anonymized
Duration: Session or up to 1 year (varies by provider)
Aggregate, anonymized page-view data to understand traffic patterns and improve the site. If analytics are active, no personally identifiable information is collected and no cross-site tracking is performed. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting or by using a content blocker.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies (session state, auth tokens) will prevent authenticated features from functioning. Analytics cookies can be blocked without affecting core site functionality.
